Kaliber 3X62 is een GPS Solar uurwerk dat signalen van GPS-satellieten ontvangt om automatisch de exacte atoomtijd in te stellen. Met één druk op de knop synchroniseert het binnen 3 seconden met één van de 39 tijdzones wereldwijd. Er is geen batterijvervanging nodig — de fotovoltaïsche cel zet elke lichtbron om in elektrische energie die wordt opgeslagen in een oplaadbare condensator, goed voor ongeveer 6 maanden (volledig opgeladen) gangreserve. Het uurwerk bevat automatische zomertijd-aanpassing en een eeuwigdurende kalender die via GPS wordt bijgewerkt.
Functies geleverd door Kaliber 3X62: Uren, Minuten, Seconden, Datum, Wereldtijd (39 zones), Gangreserve, GPS-synchronisatie, Zomertijd Auto.
De 41,2 mm kast is vervaardigd uit Titanium met Super-Hard DLC Coating met geborsteld titanium met harde coating; afgewerkt met spiegelgepolijste accenten. De solide geschroefde achterdeksel zorgt voor waterdichtheid. Het saffier horlogeglas (superheldere coating) ligt boven de wijzerplaat en biedt uitstekende krasbestendigheid en helderheid.
De vaste gladde bezel maakt het strakke uiterlijk compleet. De geschroefde drukknopkroon zorgt voor een veilige afdichting tegen binnendringend water.
Het horizontaal gestreepte metallic gelakte metaal heeft opgelegde baton-/zwaardstijl met lumibrite. LumiBrite — Seiko's eigen strontiumaluminaat-fotoluminescente samenstelling — wordt aangebracht op de Wijzers en uurmarkeringen, en zorgt voor een betrouwbare groene gloed bij weinig licht en in het donker, zonder radioactieve materialen. De datumaanduiding is geïntegreerd; de gangreserve op 7:30 wordt ingesteld via de kroon.
Geleverd op een Titanium geïntegreerde armband (hardcoating) met een bandaanzetbreedte van 14 mm (geïntegreerd). De vouwsluiting met drukknop zorgt voor een veilige bevestiging. Het geïntegreerde armbandontwerp is een vast architectonisch element van dit model.
Waterdicht tot 100 m / 10 ATM / 10 bar. Geschikt voor zwemmen, snorkelen en watersporten. Niet aanbevolen voor duiken met perslucht.
Het GPS Solar-uurwerk synchroniseert automatisch met de juiste tijdzone voor uw huidige locatie. Met 39 beschikbare tijdzones en automatische zomertijdcorrectie hoeft u alleen op de GPS-synchronisatieknop te drukken en het horloge stelt zichzelf binnen 3 seconden in op atoomklokprecisie.

Not only this is my favorite Chrono from Festina, it was purchased in France, carrying many memories. Now refreshed with the better than the original blueish strap, becoming a bright yellow touch, instantly recognized, wherever I wear it. Looks like I‘ve got the last available strap. Had trouble getting the item the first time. The dial was returned to holland and had to be shipped out again. BUT they were very communicative and allowed me to add a second hand to the order that was out of stock for my first order. Very pleased. Amazing product, my first real seiko dial!
Beautiful deep teal-green glacial ice dial
The shroud took a little bit over a week to arrive, but it was pretty quick considering that I live in Australia, it came perfectly secured inside the packaging with the original Seiko part number label, super easy to replace and great quality. I hope that they stock them again soon to buy another one just in case I need it in the future.
